As a property owner in Wildernest, you may be aware of the hazards posed by dead and diseased trees that exist in a high-density sub-division in what Fire Professionals call the Wildland/Urban Interface. This Interface or Red Zone is the area where forested public lands border our communities. Wildernest is considered a RedZone. Pursuant to BMMD Protective Covenants, Article XV. 1500.02, Landscape Maintenance: ALL Wildernest property owners shall remove dead, dying, diseased, or insect-infested landscape materials.

  • The Free Summit County Chipping Program is scheduled the weeks of June 17, 2019,for Wildernest subdivision.
  • Visit the County website at https://www.summitcountyco.gov for more information.
  • Slash Piles may only be placed curb side one week before the scheduled County pick-up.
