2024 Summit County Chipping Program
Summit County has released the dates for the 2024 chipping program. Wildernest residents will need to have all acceptable yard waste materials they wish to have disposed of neatly stacked by the street no later than 8:00 AM Monday July 1st 2024. The crews will only drive each street once, so to ensure that you have your materials picked up please have them out by this time. Residents have received an email detailing the results of the tree survey the District commissioned last Fall for your specific property regarding trees that need to be removed by this time.

Mesa Cortina Pile Burning *UPDATED*
Due to unfavorable conditions, the County has postponed the scheduled pile burns until such time they can safely resume the project. They currently have completed nearly half of the slash piles and will resume once the weather allows for the safe completion of the controlled burn. BMMD will update all customers when the County plans to resume, please check the website for continued updates.
