A public hearing will be conducted for informing citizens and soliciting public input, written or oral, regarding the BMMD Infrastructure Upgrades Project Needs Assessment (PNA) and Environmental Assessment (EA) (if applicable). The PNA is a report detailing the project as proposed, including project necessity, alternatives, and components. The PNA also describes how the project is being funded. The reports are being submitted to the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment (CDPHE) to qualify Buffalo Mountain Metropolitan District for a State Revolving Fund Loan.

Notice of Meeting to Consider Rate Increase
Buffalo Mountain Metropolitan District

Notice is hereby given pursuant to Section 32-1-1001(2)(a), C.R.S., to the customers of the Buffalo Mountain Metropolitan District (“District”) and all other interested persons that the Board of Directors of the District shall consider increasing the District’s water and sewer rates effective January 2025 at an open public meeting to be held at October 15th and November 19th, 2024 at 106 Adams Ave, Silverthorne, CO  with an option to attend via electronic Zoom meeting, https://us06web.zoom.us/j/84507381948, Phone: 1-720-707-2699, ID: 845 0738 1948.

Notice Concerning HB23-1105: Homeowners’ Association and Metropolitan District
Homeowners’ Rights Task Forces

Pursuant to House Bill 23-1105, signed into law on May 24, 2023, a Metropolitan District Task Force 
is to be appointed by November 1, 2023, to examine issues regarding homeowners’ rights and to 
perform other duties as noted in the new law. A summary of the Bill and link to the signed Act are 
available at https://leg.colorado.gov/bills/hb23-1105.  Each Metropolitan District in Colorado 
created to finance infrastructure to support a housing subdivision is required to notify its 
residents about the task force.

These Declaration of Protective Covenants (“Covenants”) are made for the purpose of creating and keeping the subdivision, insofar as possible, desirable, attractive, beneficial and suitable in architectural design, materials and appearance; and guarding against fires and unnecessary interference with the natural beauty of the subdivision; all for the mutual benefit and protection of the owners of lots in the subdivision.

The Covenants were made and declares limitations, restrictions and uses upon and of such real property as restrictive and protective covenants running with the land, and as binding upon Grantor and upon all persons claiming under Grantor and upon all future owners of any part of such real property, so long as these restrictive and protective covenants shall remain in effect.

The Buffalo Mountain Metropolitan District, acting by and through its Manager, has been delegated and has accepted certain powers, duties, and authority to enforce the Wildernest Covenants pursuant to that certain Assignment of Rights and Obligations Under Declaration of Protective Covenants for Wildernest Subdivision Filing Nos. 1 and 2 (the “Premises”) dated June 15, 2004 (the “Delegation”). A copy of the Delegation is recorded in the real property records of Summit County, Colorado at Reception No. 762834.
